Many projects are insertions requiring a sensitive approach to the repair of an existing built form. Continuous review of financial viability ensures projects can be delivered. This is proving to be highly affective in both the south London boroughs and in Liverpool where a substantial amount of projects are underway.
The practice is keen to produce a contemporary architecture appropriate to the site, Site restraints are embraced and used as a tool to inform the design, and schemes reflect and enhance the existing characteristics of the surroundings. Schemes range from small single houses to developments of seventy units and more. Small scale development however can provide a strong link by reinforcing identity and knitting together disparate neighbours. Gaps in our suburban landscape become vibrant links through a pragmatic approach that leads to build ability.
